First of all a very warm & loving wish to you all on Valentine's day from SPANi Family. While the world would be painted red during this week we decided to give you some exciting news to turn your competitors turn green ;)
Since last couple of months we have been receiving regular complaints about our mail server VIPER.ITSOUL.COM (Windows Hosting On OWL Server) and our team has been trying to resolve the issues have faced. Even though we have upgraded the hardware & the software versions the problem specially with the load issue on web mail and server has been constantly on the rising side apart from the increasing spam & virus problem. We had been working out with various options and after working over many products we decided to go in favor of SMARTER MAIL to be deployed as our new mail server.
Smartertools have recently released their version of SMARTERMAIL 4 which comes with lot many exciting features and advanced spam control system, Some of the unique features of SmarterMail 4 are listed as below :

I hope you'd have fall in for exciting features the smartermail's webmail offer just like we have gone head over heals with its impressive capabilities. We have tried and ran the smartermail on our test machines and it has provided impressive results making us decide in favor of the migration.
Now what would this migration mean to you :
First of all this would be done without any possible downtime, I'll outline the steps thru which we'd be migrating the mailboxes and we'll ensure that none of your client's mails get lost during or after the transition phase.
1) We'd be deploying the new server while the old server would continue to run.
2) We'd be stopping the HELM on your server and create all mailboxes on smartermail server.
3) We'd change the MX records of your domains to point to the new server.
4) Once the mailboxes are created we'll start the HELM and the new mails would start coming to the new server i.e. the SMARTEMAIL server.
5) During this time and till March 04, 2007 the old server would remain live so all your customers would be able to access old mails from there.
6) If your customers want to move all old mails into the new mail server they can do it within minutes by using the POP Retrieval service of smartermail, you can grab email from external POP accounts and pull them into SmarterMail accounts within minutes. This way all old mails will have a way to be imported into new smartermail and you won't lose any old data either.
7) We'll be keeping the old server i.e. VIPER online for another 20 days which means you'll have access to the old mail server for approx 3 weeks and during this phase the entire data could be moved to the new server without any data loss.
We anticipate superior performance and an end to all your mailing problems you've experienced in past, while we have tried our best to resolve the problems your co operation has always been great and we greatly appreciate your patience all the difficult times.
We'd be mailing you the exact schedules during which we'll make the migration and you would have sufficient time to notify your customers for the same. Our team is preparing the HOW TO Video's and documentation which would make things easy for you to manage on the new interface, kindly note that all of these would be unbranded so you'll be able to give these tutorials as it is to your customers as well.
